About Taberu Sushi

We are located in city place mall, next to Mother’s Market.

Located at 131 E Memory Ln, Santa Ana, CA 92705, Taberu Sushi operates as a japanese serving Santa Ana in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–3 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. This place is amazing! Hands down best sushi in Orange County. We tried spicy tuna mango roll and it was my favorite! Our server ( Mimi) welcomed us as soon as we walked in, she was so polite and friendly. I definitely come back! Keep up the good work guys.

Probably one of the best places for sushi and Japanese food. Service is excellent. Boyfriend said that he had one of the best blue crab hand rolls he’s ever had. I ordered the grilled salmon with garlic rice plate and double salmon signature roll, both were delicious. Will definitely come again.

Went there Saturday at 5pm as they opened. No waiting. Ordered chirashi bowl, and I must say it was the best chirashi bowl I had in OC so far. Everything was fresh. Each fish had its specific texture and taste, and the rice was very well seasoned. The picked veggies that come with the bowl were very pleasant to eat with the bowl. I would definitely go back and get the same dish again. Oh and their miso soup was superior (it had thick shrimp base, which I really liked!!)

I took my wife and daughter here for the first time last night. We thankfully slipped in before the busy Saturday night service πŸ˜…. I wish I caught her name, but the owner was so wonderful and I just loved the pride and attention to detail that she had. She was assisting the waiter with the entire service and sharing small detail throughout the dinner that just made me fall in love with this place. Incredible service and passion go a long way for me and Taberu had an elite level of both. Oh yeah, the food lol. 10/10! Fresh and amazing. We ordered a few rolls and sushi options and everything was so good! We came from over 30 miles away and it worth the trip! πŸ”₯🍣🍢

I honestly debated whether to write this review or keep this place to myself β€” it’s that good. The food is truly unique and absolutely delicious. You can taste the quality in every bite; everything was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. Andrew completely elevated our experience. His energy, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made the night unforgettable. I don’t think I can ever go back to my previous sushi spot after this. What really stood out was how accommodating they were β€” I was able to taste an item before they were added to my dish, which has never happened to me before. That level of care is rare. The atmosphere is clean, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. I’m so glad I discovered this place. Highly, highly recommend.
